Delete your Palna account

This page explains how to delete your account in Palna: Mother & Baby Care, published by Toolbox Services, and what happens to your data.

Delete your account in the app

1. Open Palna and make sure you are signed in and connected to the internet.
2. Tap the menu (⋮) in the top corner, then Settings.
3. Scroll to Account and tap Delete my account.
4. Type DELETE and tap Delete forever.

Your account is deleted immediately and the app signs you out and clears its data from the phone.

Delete by email instead

If you can't use the app, email hello@palnacare.com from the email address you signed up with. We will delete your account within 30 days and reply to confirm.

What gets deleted

• Your login: email address, password, and any Google sign-in link.
• Your profile (your name).
• Every family that only you belong to, with all its babies and everything logged for them: feeds, sleep, diapers, growth, vaccines, medicines, symptoms, pumping and stored milk, foods tried and milestones.
• Invite codes you created that nobody has used.
• The copy of your data on your phone, and any reminders the app scheduled.

Families you share with others

If you share a baby with other caregivers (for example your spouse), that baby belongs to the whole family, so it is not deleted: the other members keep the baby and all its entries. Your name is removed from the entries you made. If you were the family's owner, the member who joined next becomes the owner. If you want a shared baby's data erased as well, email us with the family members' agreement and we will erase it within 30 days.

What is kept, and for how long

We don't keep your data after deletion. Our database provider's backups may hold a copy for up to 7 days before they are overwritten; we never restore deleted accounts from them. Emails we sent you (for example sign-up codes) may remain in our email provider's logs for up to 30 days.
